Document Work(MLA)

Coming from my prep school in Pennsylvania I had already learned a lot about MLA formatting. We spent a big portion of English in my Freshman year on it as well as in history my Sophomore year. The one thing I never quite grasped was the Works cited pages. I would just never include it into my papers and my professors would never say anything or take points off for it so I thought it was fine. When entering college I realized that citing your work was very important in all subject because if not you could be sued for plagiarism. When entering English 110 I made it a mission to focus on how to make a works cited page and I received a lot of assistance from my peers on how to do so. I also found a website online to help check and make sure that no information is left out when I am citing and I am glad I learned how to do so. I always was pretty good at in text citations and I have them all throughout paper 3 and my other two papers. But I can see that they are a lot more frequent and I learned that if I mention the author before in the same sentence that I do not have to include their name in the in text citation that follows. I am happy to know that I learned the proper way my works cited page needs to be and on the other things included in MLA formatting.
